Jane Reid, CMD, Principal
Reid's professional credentials include 24 years of senior-level
marketing in the shopping center and tourist attraction industries.
Jane Reid, Principal of Reid Marketing Services,
is a creative, results-oriented professional with 24 years
marketing experience in the retail industry. Ms. Reid has
been responsible for developing and maintaining annual marketing
budgets of more than a million dollars, collectively. Ms.
Reid's special strengths include executing special events,
negotiating media buys, managing marketing budgets and supervising
a support staff (on an as needed basis).
Prior to forming Reid Marketing Services in 1994, Ms. Reid
oversaw the shopping center marketing for developers throughout
California. Her Director of Marketing experience encompassed
PIER 39 in San Francisco, Hillsdale Shopping Center in San
Mateo, Westminster Mall in Westminster and several Bay Area
shopping centers owned by The Hahn Company. Ms. Reid started
in the shopping center industry in 1984 and received her Certified
Marketing Director (CMD) designation from the International
Council of Shopping Centers in 1989. She holds a Bachelor
of Fine Arts degree (BFA) in Fashion Design from Stephens
College, Columbia, Missouri.
Ms.
Reid's shopping center industry accomplishments include past
President of the Northern California Marketing Directors'
Association (NCMDA) and various advertising awards: ICSC MAXI
Merit Award, Newspaper Advertising Bureau NABY Award, California
Newspaper Advertising Executive Association DINA Award and
NCMDA IMPACT! Award. While working for The Hahn Company, Ms.
Reid received numerous company FAME Awards for center sales,
special events, consumer advertising campaigns and merchandising
programs.

Kirk
Miller, Graphic Designer
For
more than 14 years, Kirk Miller, has successfully owned Push-The-Envelope,
Inc., a retail graphic design / marketing firm. Working with
freelance designers, copywriters, illustrators, photographers,
and production artists, Kirk has created complete marketing
campaigns for some of the nations largest regional shopping
centers and retailers such as Clothestime (national clothes
chain), Long Beach Towne Center (Long Beach), Desert Ridge
Market Place (Phoenix), and College Grove Center (San Diego).
Kirk has helped a marketing firm in Newport Beach and Chicago
open in-house art departments. He was responsible for the
hiring of designers and production artists and for purchasing
the computers systems. All of Kirk's work is from original
concepts and produced on Macintosh computers using Quark,
Illustrator, and Photoshop. He maintains and configures all
his computers, printers, and Internet connections.
Previously,
at John Ryan Company, a retail-marketing firm in Minneapolis
(1984-87). Kirk worked as an Art Director on national accounts,
names like Chemical Bank, Software Etc., Eckerd Drug, County
Seat, Walden Books, and Mervyn's. He looked at the store environment
as an integral piece of the marketing plan. From John Ryan,
he gained experience in point of purchase design, logo/private
label creation, direct mail, merchandising and employee incentive
and training.
Kirk
and Jane have worked as a team for more than 11 years. Together,
they have successfully created award-winning marketing campaigns
for shopping centers and retailers state-wide.
